Furnace MFG was started in 1995 when Eric Astor created Furnace MFG as the production division for his company, Lumberjack Distribution. Eric quickly found his calling in media manufacturing and a year later decided to focus all his attention on this industry. Furnace MFG was spun-off as an independent CD and DVD manufacturing company and Lumberjack Distribution sold as a successful national distribution company. The quality of our service and our location in the DC Metro Area meant that Furnace MFG quickly became the preferred media manufacturer of some of the nation's top businesses and organizations as well as our already established independent music client base. Our Business Services Division was started in order to focus on the specific needs of our business clients. As this division of the company grew, we listened to our business clients' feedback on how we could help them succeed. Thanks to this approach and our excellent service record, Furnace MFG Business now surpasses even our Music/Film Division in the number of client projects and units manufactured yearly.
